Buryatia’s ultrabasic and Basic rocks as promising raw materials for deep reworking

Abstract

The paper discussed the potential of mafic and ultramafic rocks from Yoko-Dovyren massif as a raw material for the building sector. The gravel from such rocks has high quality and can be used for the production of high-strength and durable concrete and asphalt concrete. The use of ultramafic and mafic rocks as a mineral additive allows for the production of ceramic bricks that are comparable in characteristics to traditional counterparts.
